Founded in 2003 by Stephen and Tim, Float has worked with some of the UK’s most respected education institutions for over two decades, designing digital platforms that turn complex information into clear, usable experiences.
Today, that experience is concentrated in Pathways. Alongside the platform, we deliver the annual FE Student Choices Survey and publish sector reports based on Pathways usage data, supporting institutions across further and higher education with both the tools and the insight to improve learner progression.
In 2026 we launched Student Choices, the UK's definitive career-led FE course finder for school leavers, parents, and careers advisors.
